3 month checkups

Let me preface this post by saying that Moni and I have been a little disappointed. We have given you guys 4 posts now in 4 days and the comments were kind of low. We understand that some of you are all too shy to type or something, but seriously.

The kids had their 3-month doctor appointment this afternoon, and they all passed with flying colors. We are still amazed and so thankful that God has trusted us with these miracles, and they continue to chug right along. They are all still incredibly healthy and they are growing so well.

Pius is still our biggest guy. He now tips the scales at 11 pounds, 6 ounces. He has jumped from the 3rd percentile last month to the 10th percentile this month. He still doesn't quite rank on the length growth chart at 22 1/4 inches, but his head does by golly. He is still having some problems with his feet, but the doctor thinks they will straighten out on their own with a little TLC from mommy, daddy, and caregivers.

Forrest is still keeping up with Pius pretty well, but he only weighs 11 pounds, 3 ounces. He also is in the 10th percentile for his weight, but not quite on the chart for his length which is 21 3/4 inches. Now Pius's head is in the 4th percentile, but Forrest, on the other hand, ranks in the 12th percentile. What a gigantic melon that boy has. He must have Mommy's brains in there. We will have to be more aggressive with Forrest's fingernail clipping because he continues to scratch his face, but other than that no real big issues with Frosty.

This brings us to our princess, Danna. She now tips the scales at 6 pounds, 3 ounces. She is 17 3/4 inches long now, too. Neither of those measurements got her on the chart, but she did narrow the gap a little bit. For now she has to stay at 24 calorie meals, but the doctor said that after her weight checkup in a couple weeks we might be able to cut her down to 22 calories. She is a very healthy, petite little girl.

Last, but not least, we have Laine. He now weighs a whopping 8 pounds, 6 ounces. He is 20 inches long, but neither of those measurements earned him the growth chart yet. He is very close though. We will be dropping him from 24-cal to 22-cal feeds. Hopefully this will help the upset stomachs that have seemed to be plaguing him. He is still a sweet, healthy baby boy.

Moni has officially started back to work tonight. I was stayed here with the help of Aunt Renee, Ashley, and Bucko. Now let me say that Moni was the one who was talking about Renee ruling with an iron fist. I sat here and witnessed Renee as the only one of us four tonight who could calm the Banana. Aunt Renee never actually did anything to us kids, it was just our imaginations working with the knowledge of her stare. She has one hell of a stare, and we were all too scared to figure out what she was capable of. I will BEG Aunt Renee to teach me the secret, and would like to state for the record that her stare gives me hope that maybe one day I will be able to handle my children with only a look. Moni and I really do appreciate her help, and she and Uncle Jim have already decided that they need to spoil our kids rotten.

That pretty much raps up the 4th post in 4 days. We look forward to a little better effort on the feedback. When we feel you deserve it, we will post new pictures and new videos of each of the four. That, and when I find out where the camera is. It's probably under bottles, diapers, dirty clothes, blankets, or a boppy somewhere.

Love,
B,M,P,F,D, and L

I CAN'T BELIEVE this has been up for a few hours and I am the first to post. YESSS :) I'm so glad they are doing great. Monica, I hope your day back to work was not too stressful. If you can handle four babies, I think wesley will be a breeze! Can't wait for new pictures of the chunky monkeys.

Tubres...take notice. You are falling WAY behind the Grafs in the posting war. When was the last time we had Cupcake updates on four consecutive days? Hmmmm...?

It's wonderful to hear that that the beautiful Graf babies are healthy.

Moni, good luck with returning to work! I hope you have a flexible job and that your transition is a smooth one.

With all due respect to the Tubres, our posts have been little piddily teasers whereas Jac goes all out with her "doozies"! But if you are just looking at quantity and not necessarily quality....then yes, anonymous person, we have been sticking it to them. Hee, hee! My first day back at work was GREAT. I really missed all my peeps and the patient care. I do think my time away has made me a better nurse. Maybe I should get pregnant with quadruplets more often and then take more 6 month retreats. Just kiddin! We're shooting for 5 next time. Don't have a heart attack, mom. I'm just kidding about that, too.

Hey, hey, hey...simmer down now people! Ouch, y'all are a bit ferocious aren't you? I wake up all smiles from getting 8 continuous hours of sleep last night (thank God for Gammy and Mrs. Judy) to find I am being attacked by a faceless, nameless assailant. I’m so glad I checked Billy and Moni’s site this morning…a sneak attack…how dirty! I’ll fix you “Anonymous” – I’ll be like the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld – “No Video for you!” Just joking of course…I say if you can’t beat them then join them. Being the competitive little creature I am I will post a video everyday for the next week! I can see when my “doozie’s” aren’t being appreciated :(

Now for main characters of this show – Pius, Forrest, Danna and Laine – what a herd of elephants! I couldn’t believe the weights when you texted me last night Billy! What are you doing – using Roger Clemons trainer to administer human growth injections on them? That would be cheating you know :) They are doing fantastic and I can’t wait for the next post. Why don’t you go ahead and “stick it to us” a little more by making that post today…I would just love that!

Love your circus…thanks for letting us follow along like lost puppies.

Jac

Moni,
It was wonderful working with you again last night. I knew I missed you, but working with you last night just made me realize how much. Your cheerfulness and your team work make nights go so much smoother. I look forward to helping Billy on Tuesday night while you work. I do love the posts, but hearing about the kiddos from you personally was absolutely wonderful. The joy and contentment on your face says so much more than words.

Wow! Those weights are great! It won't be long till they are all on the charts! I am so glad that your first night back to work went so good, and that Billy (and your aunt) were able to hold down the fort! Thanks so much for all the post and pictures. I for one, cannot decide if I would rather have quantity or quality. Such a hard decision.
Love!

Hey, Moni, I didn't have a heart attack. If you could produce 5 like the 4 little guys you have now, that would be great! The more the merrier. However.....better thee then me.
Glad you both can get out a little, even if it is to work.
See you tomorrow! Love ya! Budda

I am so glad to see how awesome the monkeys are doing! I feel bad that I haven't posted, and you guys have worked so hard! They are beautiful, and make me want more sooner, lol. Even now I have problems keeping Nathan (my 13 month old) free of razor sharp nails. Although, now they are just hurting me (still nursing), instead of his face. :P

Great to hear that everything is looking good!! You guys have been blessed with their health so far. Thanks for posting right away and not leaving us hanging:) I noticed that Laine is about the size of both my kids when they were born! Amazing. You guys are doing a great job. Andrea

Hi there! Just wanted to say I got your post on my website. I love to look at your videos! I don't know if your blog site takes FOREVER to upload but mine does! Your kiddos are so adorable...I don't know how you do it with four kids, I know with the three of mine it is hard! I don't have a lot of help though...most of the time it is just me during the day and the night time feedings. I would love to e-mail you but I can't get your e-mail address from my site. I know when you post a comment it makes you give your e-mail but I don't have access to them. Please e-mail me your e-mail address at crystal_hanson@hotmail.com and I will send you an e-mail. I look forward to hearing from you!

Okay, I'm just a blog lurker, but I'm scared of Aunt Renee's "stare" and Billy's threats for comments!

I'm always excited to see new posts, but am always amazed at your ability to do so!

Glad to hear everyone is in good health. I hope Danna catches up soon on her weight...she's nearly half the size of Pius, yikes!

Glad to see the babies are growing bigger and cuter - well I think cuter anyway since we didn't get any pics or videos. Keep up the good work!

PS - don't mess with those Tubre's - I'll die if Jac quits posting videos.

Thanks for the update :) I was eager to see what their weights were. My how they have grown. It's hard to believe it has already been 3 months already. Moni, I'm glad to hear your first day back at work was great.
Love you six!

It would be helpful for you to learn the "stare" as they say our children are 10 times worse than we were, Moni i will be praying for you as i am sure you were an angel who never gave anyone any problems. Billy on the other hand... It's great to see the kiddo's doing so well!!!!! They are adorable!!!!

ok, ok, I guess its time I post. I will admit, I have been following your blog since before the kiddos were born, and I don't think I have ever posted. I find your blogs quite entertaining, and look forward to new pics, blogs, etc. I also enjoy the Tubres blogs. You guys are all great, and I admire you for taking on such a HUGE responsiblity. (not like you had a choice....LOL) And also for keeping up with the blogs. Heck, I have not even updated my blog since last Sunday, and I only have one son whos 15!!
Moni, hope you enjoyed your first night back at work.
Take care, and have a great weekend.

I can't believe how much the little munchkins have grown.I get reports from Bucko how much fun they are. Brenda enjoyed helping too. I admire you guys so much for all your parenting and getting organized for four, one at a time was a challenge for me especially Mark. I can hardly wait to get down and see them and hold them in April. Thank you so much for sharing your lives and pictures with us, you are doing a great job. What has happened to Ryan, haven't hear a peep from him . Is he one of the care helpers? Aunt Laverna

Oh my goodness.... Moni & Billy, I cannot believe how big the four of them are getting -- even Miss Danna! It must be true what they say with preemies... get them home and they flourish! Moni, hope you're enjoying being back at work. I know everyone missed you. And Billy, my 2 1/2 year old noticed you at Quik Trip the other day (from the blog pictures)-- I had to bribe her to keep her from trying to talk about the "cute babies"! You guys take care and thanks for sharing your experience with all of us.

Hi Billy & Monica~

Hi! You guys rock! I was so excited to see your posts and the videos. Where did you find the time? They're all adorable and I'm overdue for another baby fix so I'll have to arrange something soon! I'm so glad that they're gaining weight so well and I know that it's a blast watching their little personalities evolve. Take good care of the babies and each other and I hope we'll see you soon! It's Senior Night at the Friends game tonight and I've got a lot of baking to do for the boys so I'd better get to it. Love you all!

Warning. Spending the afternoon with your munchkins was an experience like none other...ever...and I'm an old broad. Something happened, though, that all the future caregivers need to know. Monica was napping and my sis, Rose, was in the kitchen. I was solo. Danna started crying while I was soothing Laine. So I reached over to her bouncer and gently started stoking her. Geez, the bottom half of her body had tremors. I yelled for Rose to get over quick ... something was wrong with Danna! She came running, felt Danna and started belly laughing. She then showed me the on-off switch to gently vibrate the bouncer. Wow, things have changed since my kids were infants! By the way, the baby-cakes are adorable. Aunt GGr

Dear Friends,

Asher and Jacob's Friends is working hard to strengthen the regulations regarding when a link is posted on our site. This is for three reasons (1) to protect the privacy of the family (2) to protect our site from legal issues (3) to take a step towards becoming a foundation. It is very important to us that a family has the choice to have their site posted and we apologize for not taking this step sooner.

We know many of you are facing serious situations at the moment and we apologize for adding yet another burden to your plate. It is our hope you understand that we would not be doing this if it was not necessary. We are asking EVERY family that would like to remain on the site respond to this email by emailing back to Laura: laurainsem@yahoo.com a copy of the registration form completed. We know many of you have been on this site for a while and have made it clear to us you wanted to be added. Right now though, this is not enough. If you never filled out this form, it must be done! Please complete this form by April 8, 2008 otherwise you will be removed.

If you never wanted to be on the list or didn't even know you were on it, I apologize deeply. It was never our intention to hurt you in any way or to take away your right to privacy. This is the reason we are doing this now, as we recognize how out of control the site became. We have always had good intentions but we know good intentions is not enough. Please contact Laura if you would like to discuss this further.

Thank you so much for taking time to do this. Please know our prayers are with all of your families. If there is ever anything you need, please let us know. May God bless all of you as you continue on your journey.

Laura Lynn and all at Asher and Jacob's Friends
As we want to protect all of our families privacy, we have set higher standards for submitting a family to the Friends list. If your family would like to have your site added, please email Laura with the following information:

3. Main Diagnosis:

4. Location:

5. Webpage:

6. Email:

7. Photos in jpg format if you would like it used on this site (only used for site):

8. Your name and your relation to this person(s):

9. Any particular prayer requests you have at this moment:

None of this information will be used on the site except for the name, website, and photos if applicable. Thank you wanting to be a part of this prayer ministry. We hope that through this site, you will find encouragement, comfort, and support.

**For any families added before these new regulations, please fill this information out as well. If you do not do so prior to April 8, 2008, your site will be removed.**

WHAT?

to the fat guy in florida and who else is wondering..

Asher and Jacobs website is a prayer and support page. It started a year or so ago and we offer prayer support to many familys. We were brought to Billy and Monicas site when she first went to AZ and have continued to pray for them and LOVE getting the updates on the babies. They have just now decieded to change the standards of how we add familys, and are contacting all family on the list now to get correct permission and information to have them on the new site. I urge you all to check out the site and see all the children that are there who are in need of prayers. there is listed above.

Billy and Moni please take the time to fill in the correct information and send it back to Laura there are to many sites for us to remember the addresses. We don't want to miss out on the babies. You are both doing such a wonderful job with them. Keep up the good work!!

I admit, I have been quite the slacker on the commenting. It's so much easier to pick up the phone or just stop by to see the quad squad! I seriously can't believe the 2 bigguns' don't even make it on the growth chart, they seem like such chunks! Just a matter of time, though, and they'll all hit that first point on the chart. Can't wait to see you at work...Talk to you all later, Karen

Well what can I say, you guys obviously have way too much time on your hands if you are posting so much. I must have this all wrong, I barely have time to check my email, never mind send one, and I only have one baby (well two if you count Brandon). Tell me the secret please :-). Love the posts and the pictures especially, it was so nice to see Moni on there. It is so good to hear all the babies are doing so wonderfully, you guys really have been blessed.

All I can say is I am ready for summer, so I have more time to spend with the babies. I tell my friends it's a good thing they have four because they don't mind us coming over so often. For those of you who have not been lucky enough to see the darlings, they are a real treat. They are so darn cute and sweet. They are starting to smile and coo. It's awesome. Love Grandma Vicki

Well, you have been stuck at 33 comments for a while, so I thought I would post. Speaking of 33 posts, that is pretty good compared to the last couple of posts. Don't you think? I hope both of your jobs are going good and you are getting a decent amount of sleep. I hope you have found your camera!!!
