Another day

Hello everyone. Moni and I had a productive day. I got off work at 10:30 a.m. (QT has been so helpful and understanding about our lives away from work), and picked Moni and Karen up to drop Karen off at the airport. We dropped her off at 11:20 to board her airplane. She was supposed to be home in KS at 9:19 tonight, but as of 9:40 she was still waiting to take off from Memphis. Moni and I would like thank Bill and Pat Sindelar and Corey Lehman for loaning us their loved one for a few days. Also...congrats to Bill on placing second in the world at the powerlifting championships in Prague. What a stud! It was nice having a new visitor.

After we dropped Karen off, we called Jacyln Tubre. She told us to come on up. We went to the NICU and met her, Cullen, Abbey, Tyger, and Emma. They were wonderful hosts. While we were there, Cullen decided that he wasn't happy with his CPAP nose prongs. He let us all know about it. Also, Jaclyn changed his "poopy" diaper, and he didn't like that either. At this point, I think that the crying is considered music to the parents' ears though. Jaclyn was a very comforting person to meet, and we left the hospital feeling a lot better.

When we returned home it was time to eat. I grilled some burgers and hot dogs. I think I grilled the burgers a little long, as they seemed a little dry to me, but the girls have been raised so well that they would not agree with me vocally (and Moni will eat anything, and Becky's dad is Phil). Moni and I took a nap after we ate, and we are getting ready to play some dominos and try to figure out a way to play 3 person pitch. By the way, we taught Karen the game of dominos and we must be great teachers because she hammered us. We are getting ready to throw down on a game with Becky.

We continue to miss everyone, and ask for prayers. We should know more about Danna's situation next Thursday when we have a repeat sono and appointment with Dr. Elliott.

Hey guys whats up? Billy I thought I taught you better than that. Picking your nose while playing cards? Come on, you could ruin the cards. And whats up with over cooking the burgers? I know I wasn't there to show you but I was trying to coach you over the phone. Monica and Karin I'm so confused. Blankets in Phoenix? I thought the temp was well over 100. Oh yeah, Billy probably has the thermostat at around 50. I told you Monica that was the main reason we kicked Billy out of the house at 18. Because he wasn't paying the bills. You guys hang in there. We love and miss you guys so much!!!
Grandpa Stubby

P.S. Emmy if you are reading these and I know you do, give me a call. I have a bone to pick with you.

That is what I like. Now if you could just post like this everyday. Everything you did and everything you ate, with a few pictures thrown in, I would be so happy! Did the Tubre babies looks as tiny in person as they do in the pictures? I bet it was amazing seeing them. Bronco's on a bye, so no stressing about them this weekend. Love

I left one post but it must have gotten lost. I am so glad you guys got to meet the Tubre quads. I am sure it helped the nerves and the fears. I was also happy to see Monica on the couch playing cards. Monica, I know it has to be hard to be on bed rest, but look at it this way in a few months you are going to wishing you had some time to lay around. I miss you both so much, wish we could all be there with you, but you definitely wouldn't be getting in rest then. Take care, be good, and know how much you are loved. I check out the Tubre's blog now when I am checking out your site. This is addictive. Love, Mama Vicki

Hi,
I am a former patient of Dr. Elliot's and have spoken to Jaclyn several times. I have gggg quads born @ 30WKS. We are from the Dallas area. Mine were born last Nov. and will be a year next month. I can't believe how fast it is going. I love the belly shots. Unfortunely, I now wish my belly would go!
Please feel free to email me if you have questions or need anything! misty@urechquads.com
Tell Dr. Elliot & Dr. Strong hello.
Blessings to you,

Well, I made it home. I began dialing your number last night when I realized it would have been 1:30 or so there. I waited for 2 hours at Memphis to board, then 1 more hour while we were on the plane cuz there was a "crease" in the side of the plane and they had to call out the sheet metal expert to size it up to see if we could still fly. I tried really really hard to be patient, but I was actually getting a little ticked, especially since I read all my magazines, a trashy celebrity-news magazine, and so I was stuck reading SkyMall. And I just wanted to say thanks again for the excellent meals, the comfy couch, the pedicure (okay, since I did it, thanks for the toenail polish and the lotion!), the pitch games (by the way, Billy, Becky and I let you win on purpose), the R&R and movies, teaching me a new rockin' game (dominoes), being my chauffer (I'm not sure on the spelling), and the expert pharmeceutical advice. How has your monitoring been going since I left? I bet those little quadies got really attached to me, and I wouldn't be surprised if they throw a little fuss. Talk to you soon, Karen

Billy and Moni,

Hope this finds all six of you well. I just wanted the both of you to know that I've been thinking about you guys. I know for a fact that these four kids come from a combination of the two most stubborn people on the planet...therefore, I have no doubts that everything is going to be just fine. If you need anything at all you know my number. I'm keeping all six of you in my prayers.

Take care of each other. Much Love - Sergio

Hello, Monica & Billy!
You've entered into the home stretch! Having had those 2 contraction-stopping drugs I can tell you it's no fun; but you'll do fine. Phillipians 4:13 says, "I can do all things through Christ which gives me strength." Have faith in God, yourself, and your body (& your doctor(s)) to do what's necessary to bring these 4 souls into this world.
Keep believing, even amoung the uncertainty, that things will work out for the good. I am one of many sending prayers heavenward on you and your family's behalf.
From a fellow mother of quads,
Kris Keith

PS: You do look great! Time maybe to adopt the hospital gown look..:)

Hi, Just a note to let you know I'm reading your updates on everyone. Moni I know its hard to lay in bed all the time, but those little ones will be well worth it. At church today I give my sunday school class news each week and we are all praying for all of you. Boy its really raining tonight. Your people at your house won't have to water for awhile. Gotta go, Love Pattypoo
